Kodiak Area Native Association Community Health Survey: Old Harbor & Akhiok |

PhD In a joint project with the Kodiak Area Native Association and the Alaska Center for Rural Health, a comprehensive community health assessment was completed for the villages of Old Harbor and Akhiok, on Kodiak island. Using standard survey methods tailored through input from the involved communities, 94 household surveys (83%) were collected and analyzed. Principle interests were to determine unmet community health problems and needs, and identify strategies for initiating improvements of the well being of theses communities. A final report is available through the UAA Consortium Library and ICHS. |
